Adeline M. Grosam, age 90, of Gibbon, MN died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon. Father Bruno Santiago O.S.B. will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon.

All guests in attendance are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.

Adeline Minnie Leske was born on October 12, 1930 to Harry A. & Selma (Pagel) Leske. The family made their home in rural Winthrop, MN. She graduated from Winthrop High School and attended Mankato Business College.

Adeline Leske married Daniel Grosam on August 9, 1949 at St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon. Four children were born to this union. They farmed in Severance Township where Adeline remained until she fell ill in December 2020. She enjoyed being a homemaker in addition to selling World Book Encyclopedias, Fuller Brush products, and handing out samples at area businesses. She enjoyed travel within the United States and abroad. Adeline loved ballroom dancing, playing cards with neighbors and friends, shopping, cooking, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Adeline is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Grosam, Cindy and Galen Elwood, all of Gibbon; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jeannine  Grosam of Gibbon; daughter-in-law, Roberta Grosam of New Ulm; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Doris Leske and Marianne Grosam; and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel in 2001; her parents; son, Gary Grosam; infant grandsons, Christopher, Joey and Travis Grosam; infant brother, Delbert Leske; two sisters, Clarice Draeger and Evelyn Buker; and a brother, Edgar Leske.
