David C Swim, 74, of Monticello, Iowa passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Services are pending at this time.

David was the husband of Elizabeth Frickson-Swim, formally of Fairfax, MN. Elizabeth graduated from Fairfax High School with the class of 1981. They celebrated their 25^th wedding anniversary on September 30, 2020.

David had been in a nursing home resident for two and half years with multiple health issues. He contracted the COVID virus in the nursing home and expired within a week.

Dave is survived by his wife, Liz; son, Brian (Leigh) Swim, Chicago, IL; daughter, Celeste (Tim) Simon, San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, Zac, Carter and Hayden Swim and Chance and Harper Simon; brother, Steve; nephew, Jason; niece, Michelle and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger.
