Deloris was the daughter of Walter and Helena Schroeder, born April 21, 1930 in Morgan, MN. She attended Morgan District 34 grade school and graduated from Morgan High School.

While employed at Meusings Drug Store, in New Ulm, she met her husband, Edgar Kiecker and they were later married on September 27, 1953. Together, they raised four children on a farm, northwest of Gibbon, MN. She worked as a teacher’s aide in the Gibbon area for numerous years. She also served in various activities and church functions.

Deloris had many talents - sewing, quilting, embroidery, baking and crafting. After retirement in 1988, which moved them to New Ulm, she was employed with Randall’s Bakery and Lambrecht’s. She had a love for collecting and refurbishing dolls and enjoyed showing her collection to children of all ages. Her gentleness, humbleness and innate creativity made her a shining example to all who knew her. She remained faithful to God, was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Deloris is survived by her husband Edger Kiecker; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Vicki of Gibbon, MN; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jim Fike of Columbia, MO; daughter, Cynthia Kiecker of Rosemount, MN; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Gregory Stevens of Amboy, MN; brother, Harill Schroeder of Sleepy Eye; grandchildren, Shawn (Jackie) Kiecker, Travis (Allie) Kiecker, Kristi (David) Schrimpf, Shannon (Jim) Olson, Jackie Hartwig (Brian Paulson), Gavin Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Carson Kiecker, Corbin Kiecker, and Logan Schrimpf.
