Harvey C. Dahms, age 92, of Franklin, MN passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at CentraCare-Redwood Hospital in Redwood Falls, MN.

Memorial Services were held Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, MN with the interment in the church cemetery.

Harvey Christ Dahms was born on May 19, 1932, in Hector, MN. He was the son of Christ and Marie (Lehman) Dahms. Harvey was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. He received his education through the eighth grade at country school.

Harvey was a life-long resident on the farm north of Franklin. He was a life-long farmer who loved to farm and be outside. He grew corn, soybeans, grain and raised cattle and chickens in his earlier years. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, growing tomatoes, potatoes, beets and carrots. Harvey also loved tending to his garden with the weeding.

Harvey was a life-long member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax.

Harvey is survived by his sister, Ruth Lee of Franklin, MN; nephew, Kevin Lee and his significant other, Joy Welter of Franklin, MN; great-nephew, Jacob Lee; great-niece, Olivia Lee; other relatives and friends.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Christ and Marie Dahms.
