WILLIAM “WILLARD” NESBURG

William “Willard” Henry Nesburg, 76, passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2026.

Willard was an engineer at heart and a builder by nature. Gifted with a brilliant mind and endless curiosity, he rarely met a project he wouldn't tackle. He believed in hard work, self-reliance, and lifelong learning, a philosophy reflected in the beautifully remodeled homes he transformed and the countless projects he brought to life.

He enjoyed fishing, old cowboy movies, and spending time with friends, but his true passion was cars. His family finds comfort in knowing that he spent his final moments doing something he loved, driving his beloved Corvette on the open road.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Vivian Nesburg. He is survived by his children, Travis (Amanda) Nesburg and Tracy (Russell) Nesburg; his sister, Dianne Nesburg; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his partner, Gail Dumas; and many cherished friends.

In keeping with his wishes, a formal funeral service will not be held. Instead, family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on November 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the New Ulm American Legion Post 132, 13 S. Minnesota St., New Ulm, MN.

Please dress casually and join us for a meal, a drink, and stories honoring a remarkable man.
