The Cedar Mountain varsity volleyball team headed to Marshall on October 7 and 8 for the annual Jimmy John’s Invitational held at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
The girls’ weekend started with a matchup against Dawson Boyd. They took both sets of that match pretty easily with scores of 25-16 and 25-21.

The Cedar Mountain varsity volleyball team played their last home game of the season on Tuesday, October 11 against the Greyhounds of New Ulm Cathedral.
The Cougars were coming off a win over Sleepy Eye and a busy tournament weekend, while the Hounds had a six-match winning streak they were looking to extend.

The GFW Lady Thunderbirds headed west to Marshall on October 7 and 8 for the annual Jimmy John’s invitational held at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
The girls played five matches – two Friday evening and three on Saturday, finishing the weekend with a second-place finish in their division.

The GFW varsity volleyball team traveled to Sleepy Eye on Tuesday, October 11, to face the Knights of St. Mary’s in a Tomahawk Conference battle.
The Knights have only two regular season losses this year, and are vying for the top spot in the conference, so they were determined to uphold their winning streak.

The GFW varsity volleyball team traveled to Arlington on Saturday, September 24 to compete in their annual Invitational.
The T-Birds played four different teams in five games throughout the tourney – Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial, Chisago Lakes (twice), Lester Prairie Holy Trinity, and Nicollet.
