The Cedar Mountain Cougar varsity volleyball team ended their regular season with a win on Tuesday, October 17 over the Mavericks of Martin County West.
The Cougars earned the win in a three-set sweep with scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-17.

The Cedar Mountain Lady Cougars traveled to Marshall on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 for the two-day Jimmy Johns Invitational at Southwest Minnesota State University.
In their first match on Friday evening, the Cougars went head-to-head with the Sting of Yellow Medicine East.

The GFW Thunderbird girls’ varsity volleyball team hosted the Knights of Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s on Tuesday, October 10 in Winthrop.
The T-Birds earned the first set with a score of 25-16. The second set also went to GFW, with a final score of 25-15, but the Knights rallied in the third set and earned the win with a score of 25-22.

The Cedar Mountain Cougar varsity football team hosted the Flying Dutchmen of Edgerton in a conference matchup on Friday night in Morgan.
Edgerton had the ball to start the game and they didn’t waste any time putting the first points on the board. They put together a drive that ended with a touchdown just a few minutes into game.

The GFW T-Bird volleyball team traveled to New Ulm on Thursday, September 28 to take on the Cathedral Greyhounds on their home court in a Tomahawk Conference matchup.
The T-Birds, coming off their loss to the Cougars earlier in the week, were determined to work for a better outcome in this match.
